Welcome to our Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) program competitive pathway! From foundational skills to Provincial Level training, our programs are designed to support male gymnasts at every stage of their gymnastics journey. To become a competitive member, a child must be either selected through our ‘tryout’ process or be invited. See program descriptions below to learn more.
This curriculum will be slightly challenging requiring a minimum of 6 hrs per week and athletes are specifically selected for it. The focus is on increased strength training and more attention to detail. These athletes will participate in 2 Demo competitions displaying the basic gymnastics skill and while learning the sport.
(6 hrs per week).
Gymnasts learn advanced skills with a stronger emphasis on details, while keeping to a more challenging training program and preparing and developing routines to perform in 2 competitions per year. Emphasis is on experiencing gymnastics in the fullest sense, personal goal accomplishment, developing self-esteem, lasting friendships and great memories. Gymnasts in this program who develop skills and training habits beyond this level always have the opportunity to be considered for higher levels of competition. This is a great program for the development of the advanced gymnast, keeping your child healthy, focused and busy! (6-8 hrs per week)
This program is for gymnasts who consistently demonstrate exceptional work ethic, coachability, mental toughness, and emotional control. Athletes must show perseverance, the ability to handle pressure, and grasp complex skills—potentially up to the Elite level. Full commitment and consistent training are required.
Athletes may earn the chance to compete individually and on teams, with opportunities including the Provincial Championships (following the 3 Ontario Cups), Tour Selection, Eastern Canadian Championships, and Canadian Championships. Scholarship opportunities may also be earned. (9–16 hours/week)
